The classic, emblematic and historical green and gold WBC belts now in collaboration with MAKURI, were hand painted by Taller Casa Don Juan in San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca.

The Hernandez Melchor family has been dedicated to wood carving for 35 years, their first born Waldo Hernandez Melchor is the third generation to preserve and innovate this beautiful craft of the state of Oaxaca.

San Martin Tilcajete is characterized by family workshops dedicated to wood carvings, CASA DON JUAN is a work team on which more than 20 families depend immediately.

In this workshop the master craftsman Waldo Hernandez has transmitted to the young people of the community and surrounding communities the ancestral and traditional techniques that are embodied in each of the carvings that are made from start to finish in San Martin in order to preserve the Heritage of a family in the tradition of a people.
